FAQ and troubleshooting
What does it cost? One subscription per company, per year, starting at $59,988 USD ($4,999/month billed annually), bought on AppExchange — it covers every user in your org. There is no free trial; use the Test Drive. The connected tomba.io account must be on Tomba Enterprise, whose credits pay for lookups. See Pricing & Plans.
"Tomba for Salesforce requires a Tomba Enterprise plan" — the connected tomba.io account is not Enterprise, or the Enterprise contract has ended. Talk to Tomba sales or your account manager.
"You need a Tomba for Salesforce license" — the org's subscription has expired or isn't active yet. Check Setup › Installed Packages › Tomba for Salesforce, and contact Tomba to renew.
Why is the Tomba action missing on my records? Add it to the Lightning record page or page layout, and make sure you have the Tomba User permission set.
"Tomba is not connected or the connection expired" — an admin reconnects in Tomba Setup. This happens when the key was deleted on tomba.io, the password was changed, or the OAuth grant was revoked.
Records stay Queued. Check that the hourly job is scheduled (Tomba Setup › Automation), that the monthly budget isn't used up, and the last error shown in Setup. Click Run hourly job as me if the admin who scheduled it left.
Lookups are skipped. Find email needs a first name, last name and a website (on the Lead, or the Contact's Account). Verify and phone need an email. Account enrichment needs a website.
Can I use one tomba.io account for several orgs? Yes. Each org gets its own API key.
