Company response

Returned by GET /domain-search at data.organization. The WHOIS object is also returned by the email verifier and by company enrichment.

Fields

Field	Type	Description
`website_url`	string	The domain.
`organization`	string or null	Company name. When Tomba has no name for the company, it's derived from the domain.
`description`	string or null	Short description of the company.
`industries`	string or null	Industry. See Values.
`company_size`	string or null	Employee count range. See Values.
`company_type`	string or null	Company type. See Values.
`revenue`	string or null	Estimated annual revenue range. See Values.
`founded`	string or null	Year the company was founded.
`keywords`	array of strings or null	Keywords that describe the company.
`ranking`	integer or null	Popularity rank of the domain on the web. Lower is more popular.
`pattern`	string or null	Email format used at the domain, such as `{first}.{last}`. `GET /email-format` lists every format with its share. See Patterns.
`accept_all`	boolean	`true` when the domain's mail server accepts mail for any address (catch-all).
`disposable`	boolean	`true` when the domain belongs to a disposable email provider. The response then contains no addresses.
`webmail`	boolean	`true` when the domain belongs to a webmail provider, such as Gmail. The response then contains no addresses.
`phone_number`	boolean	`true` when Tomba has a phone number for the company. Get it from the phone finder with `domain`.
`total_similar`	integer or null	Number of similar companies Tomba has for the domain. List them with `GET /similar`.
`location.country`	string or null	Two-letter country code (ISO 3166-1 alpha-2) of the headquarters.
`location.state`	string or null	State or region.
`location.city`	string or null	City.
`location.street_address`	string or null	Street address.
`location.postal_code`	string or null	Postal code.
`social_links.twitter_url`, `facebook_url`, `linkedin_url`, `instagram_url`, `github_url`, `youtube_url`, `pinterest_url`, `tiktok_url`	string or null	URLs of the company's social profiles.
`whois`	object	Domain registration. See WHOIS.
`last_updated`	string	When Tomba last updated the company record, in RFC 3339 format.

Values

industries, company_size, company_type, and revenue come from several data sources and don't follow one fixed list, so treat them as display text rather than as enums. Typical values:

WHOIS

Registration data for the domain, from its WHOIS record. Each field is null when Tomba has no WHOIS data for the domain.

`referral_url`	string or null	URL of the registrar.
`created_date`	string or null	When the domain was registered, in RFC 3339 format.

The same object is returned at data.organization.whois by domain search, at data.email.whois by the email verifier, and at data.whois by company enrichment.
