# The Streamlit app

Open the app from **Data Products » Apps » TOMBA**. The **Tomba** app gives you every tool without writing
SQL. It calls the same procedures, so lookups made here are billed and recorded exactly like SQL calls.

Use the menu on the left to move between pages. The sidebar also shows your install's status (daily lookups
left), with links to Tomba's products and legal pages.

## Overview

A setup checklist (connection approved, connected to Tomba, table access), your daily lookup limit, and your
usage and spend over the last 30 days. If you set a monthly credit budget, a bar shows how much is used. It
also has a quick-start SQL snippet.

## Lookup

Look up one person, email, phone or company.

1. Pick a tool.
2. For tools with several input combinations (the Email Finder accepts domain + first/last name, domain +
   full name, company + names…), choose one under **Search by**.
3. Fill in the fields and click **Look up**.

The result shows what was found, the credits used and the amount charged. A note says when the answer came
from the cache (free).

## Enrich a table

Run a tool over a whole table, step by step:

1. **Tool:** pick the tool.
2. **Input table:** enter `DATABASE.SCHEMA.TABLE`. The app previews it, or shows the `GRANT` statements to run
   if it can't read it.
3. **Match columns:** columns are matched automatically (`EMAIL`, `COMPANY_DOMAIN`, `FIRST_NAME`, …); change
   them if needed.
4. **Output:** the result table's name (it includes the date and time, so a new run doesn't replace an older
   result), the maximum number of rows, and the tool's options.
5. **Cost and run:** the most the run can cost, a credit limit for the run, and **Run in the background**
   (recommended for large tables). Tick the confirmation and click **Run**.
6. **Keep it enriched (optional):** create a [schedule](./schedules) that looks up the table's new rows every
   day, week or hour.

## Find companies

Build a table of companies from filters: countries, cities, industries, keywords, technologies, size, type,
revenue and founding year. See [Companies Search](./tools/companies-search).

## Results

Every result table: a preview, **Download CSV** (the first 10,000 rows), the SQL to copy the table into your
database, and a confirmed **Drop table**.

## History

- **Running now:** progress bars for running and queued runs, with **Cancel**.
- **Stopped early:** runs that stopped (daily limit, cancel, credit limit, failed lookups), with **Resume** and
  an **Auto-resume** switch.
- **All runs:** every run, with filters by tool and status, and totals for rows, credits and charges.

## Schedules

Your [schedules](./schedules): their timing, last run, **Pause**/**Resume schedule**, **Run now** and
**Delete**. Changing schedules needs the `app_admin` role.

## Settings

Performance, cache and budget settings. Everyone can see them; saving needs `app_admin`. See the
